FRIDGE FREESTYLN’ EP.2 @JeremySry
THE DISH:
Creamy Coconut Steak Vol-Au-Vent, Corn & Peas
PRIMARY INSPO
-Jeremy’s Cambodia Culture: Coconut is one of the most loved fruit & used ingredient
-Jeremy’s fitness lifestyle: wanted to make something that satisfies like a cheat but doesn’t leave him feeling gross
SECONDARY INSPO
-Jeremy loves his meal prep meals! I wanted to show how he can use them also as an ingredient. “A dish to make a dish”. Most times we don’t treat premade items as ingredients when you definitely can.
-Jeremy is also really getting into cooking so I wanted to show a classical technique/item called Vol-Au-Vent which is really just a hollowed case/shell of puff pastry. This can be used as a vessel for all sorts of savoury or sweet fillings!
