Tzatziki: Cucumber Dill Yogurt Sauce

Tzatziki is a staple and loved sauce eaten all over the Middle East & Southern Europe. For many, it’s most synonymous with Greek food

Thick tangy yogurt (usually strained), crisp fresh sweet cucumber, pungent and bold garlic & dill with the bright sunny zip of lemon juice. That’s what Tzatziki is about

Once you’ve made it, let it sit for some time before serving (a few hours is even better). This lets the flavors mingle & develop. Use it as a sauce for meats & seafood, a topping, dip, spread, or even as a snack or salad!⁣

*All the proportions of garlic, lemon & herbs can be changed depending on your taste. The base of yogurt & cucumber is a great canvas so if you want to add more or take it away, you absolutely can.⁣ If you want a thinner dip or something less tart you can substitute for creme fraiche or sour cream⁣
